Restaurant Manager / Partner Opportunity

$75,000 to $85,000 / year
BTT is located at 256 Moody Street, in the heart of Waltham, MA. We opened in 2016 and proudly feature scratch prepared creative American cuisine, highly rated East Coast craft beers, boutique North American wines, an extensive selection of small batch spirits and exciting cocktails. We strive to provide a high level of service in a comfortable/casual atmosphere.
BTT is open for dinner/drinks Wednesday through Friday, lunch/brunch on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner/drinks Saturday and Sunday evening. We have a house band on Wednesdays, open mic on Thursdays and live acoustic on Sundays. We are also open on Mondays & Tuesday for Private Events.
BTT is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the "Front of House" operations and work in partnership with the Chef to provide Exceptional Guest Experiences while delivering financial success for the staff and business.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • significant experience in casual upscale dining (independent, unique concepts in particular)
  • passion and knowledge of food, beer, wine, cocktails
  • commitment to hospitality and guest service
  • professionalism, hands on work ethic, integrity, energy and enthusiasm
  • a minimum of 5 years Restaurant Management experience with at least 2 years in a General Manager position
  • full availability and commitment
  • solid credit and zero background issues (which will be checked)
  • reside within 30 minutes of Waltham or be prepared to relocate
This is a rare opportunity. The right candidate will be brought in to run the Front of House, working with a passionate Chef and experienced Restaurant Entrepreneur. He/she will have the opportunity to earn a % of distributions and an Ownership interest in the business over a period of time.
The compensation and benefits are as follows:
  • Base Salary of $75,000 to $85,000
  • 2 Weeks paid vacation
  • 5 personal/sick days
  • Health/Dental/Vision/Disability insurance available (company 50% co-pay)
  • Transit/parking allowance
  • 6 months waiting period (to demonstrate commitment/ability), then % allocation of distributions and vesting period commencement for Ownership interest in the business. Details to be discussed further with qualified candidates during the vetting/hiring process.

Brewers Tap & Table is a "Brewers bar" with a rotating list of 48 great craft beers that is one of Moody Street's hottest restaurants. We are looking to add a positive, outgoing team member who cares about the products they are serving. We will provide the tools needed to make you successful, but you need to bring the high energy personality and work ethic to bring it all together.

- Monday & Tuesday  (private Parties and Special Events)

- Wednesday through Friday (Dinner only).

We are looking to add a few team members who work diligently, work well as part of a team, care about the food and beverages they serve, and enjoy making guests happy.

We offer part time (3 shifts / week average) and potentially full time (4-5 shifts / week average) positions.

We are open:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5pm until 10pm or 11pm
  • Saturday 11am to 11 pm
  • Sunday 11am to 9pm
  • Monday & Tuesday as needed for private events.

Qualified candidates must have Server and/or Bartender experience, positive attitude and outgoing personality.  Servers must be 18+.  Bartenders must be 21+.

We do hire candidates to be primarily Bartenders (if they have significant Bartender experience and enjoy working the bar), but all FOH Staff must be able and ready to work on the Floor and/or for Private Events.

Line Cook - Chef Driven Cuisine
